Executive Finance Dashboard
This Finance Analytics solution was designed to help the client monitor unbilled revenue and receivable exposure through a combination of executive KPIs, concentration analysis, trend monitoring, and drill-down pivot views for deeper financial investigation.

For this project, I designed and delivered a Finance Analytics Dashboard focused on giving leadership a consolidated view of unbilled revenue and other receivables across the business. The goal of the solution was to transform finance data into a structured executive reporting experience that could highlight exposure, monitor aging patterns, and surface concentration risks across divisions, customers, categories, currencies, and ledgers. Instead of relying on static spreadsheets, the dashboard was built to provide a more interactive and decision-ready view of financial performance and receivable risk.
This page extends the financial analysis beyond unbilled revenue and focuses on broader receivable exposure. It was designed to help the client monitor receivable concentration, identify large outstanding balances, and evaluate the spread of risk across business units and customer groups. The page surfaces key metrics such as $1bn total other receivable revenue, 1233 average days outstanding, $6M exposure per customer, and $991M top 5 customer revenue, which immediately signals the scale and aging profile of receivables. Supporting visuals such as receivables by division, category, currency, monthly trend, top 10 customers, and division-customer breakdown make this page especially useful for identifying dependency on a small number of customers and for tracking how outstanding balances evolve over time.

The unbilled revenue overview page was built to help management quickly understand the scale, aging, and distribution of unbilled revenue across the organization. This page combines high-level KPIs with supporting analytical visuals, allowing stakeholders to assess both overall exposure and the drivers behind it. The dashboard highlights $151M in total unbilled revenue, 244 average days unbilled, 3M exposure per customer, and an 11% cash pressure indicator, giving leadership a direct snapshot of billing delays and working capital pressure. The page also breaks down unbilled revenue by division, category, currency, and top customers, while the customer-by-month matrix and division-customer breakdown make it easier to trace where the largest balances are sitting and how they are distributed operationally.

Pivot Analysis for Unbilled Revenue

The pivot page for unbilled revenue was created as a drill-down layer for finance teams that need a more detailed and flexible view of the underlying numbers. While the overview page supports executive monitoring, this page allows users to move deeper into the data and analyze balances by ledger and division structure. It gives stakeholders the ability to inspect how total unbilled revenue is distributed across specific ledgers and operational segments, making it easier to validate figures, trace exposure sources, and support internal review discussions. In the screenshot provided, the pivot view rolls up to a total unbilled revenue of $150.9M, while still preserving detailed drill-down visibility into the ledger-level composition of that amount
Pivot Analysis for Other Receivable Revenue

The final page provides the same drill-down capability for other receivables, giving finance users a more granular operational view of outstanding balances by ledger and division. This page supports exposure monitoring and collection analysis by helping teams move from summary-level metrics into detailed account-level investigation. It is particularly valuable for finance stakeholders who need to validate concentrations, inspect ledger structures, and identify where the largest receivable balances are sitting inside the business. In the displayed view, the pivot rolls up to a total other receivable revenue of approximately $1.324bn, giving management both scale awareness and the ability to investigate the composition behind that total.
